Want to do an ECU swap.

I'm selling my REVO'ed ECU. Would show pix of it, but don't really have any pictures of software hahah!

I have a 4bar pressure regulator too.

meet up, bring tools, take mine out, take yours out. swap, and reinstall. i've never personally done it, but it's supposed to be a simple plug and play.

When you're dealing with only ecus, u dont have to worry about immobilizer? just curious. is it really a plug and play?

HA, it is NOT plug and play!! You need to recode the ECU to work with your immobilizer. If you put some other ECU in your car it WILL NOT work... You need a VAG COM and a hookup at a dealer to generate SKC codes from both of your 14 digit immobilizer ID's. You also need the dealers WSC (work shop code) and the date that the SKC codes were created.

no it won't work on a GLI, must be 337.

and i don't want to part the fpr away from the chip.
