I just got her yesterday at Bert's Garage in West Covina. She is a handful...
For those that are clueless, it's a Honda TRX 450 ER (electric start). I'm gonna take it out this coming Sunday to Highway 138 by Silverwood off the 15 fwy.

if you take the 395 (4 exits away from the 138) and go straight for about 5 miles these a place called "dry lake" , its awsome and pretty big

Really? Thanx for that info. We might go there first then so i can see if i can peg out 5th gear on that baby.
The quad is extremely awsome and powerful. Unwantingly, i peeled out through the first three gears. I ended up doing a wheely through first and second gears. That damn quad is ridiculously scary. Never had one this fast and torqy. So yeah, this weekend we are going to get acclimated.

I forgot to ask, do i need some kind of pass or do i just drive on up? What do i look for after 5 mi? Is there a sign that says dry lake?

dude if what your looking for is speed dry lake its the perfect place, it has different types of "roads" there are those fun hills with dirt and there is a BIG flat space (10 miles im guessing) smoth as pavement
you might wanna get more acurate directions than what i gave you:D cuz on the 395 you have to make a left (dont remember where)and go for another mile or 2
