Caravans --- Local LA and OC SAABERS that are driving down---
from my understanding there will be 2 caravan points.....malibu will leading the LA pack and will be meeting up with me and the OC folks at the Denny's off Alicia Pkwy...........Mike L you guys should be down at the Denny's by 2:30pm cuz it will take us about 1.5 hours to get to SD so plan accordingly.

Bring your appetites...for those that want, we'll be grabbing a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants Horton Plaza has.

Hello everyone,

Tommorrow is the Horton Plaza GTG in San Diego and i look forward to seeing
everyone out there. Just wanted to send out this last reminder...... the
GTG is still on rain or shine! I have been watching the news and they state
it will be raining tonight and tommorrow. But they are never right! ha
Anyhow if it does end up sprinkling we can meet on the second to the top
floor of the structure. Everyone should have my cell phone or Mike
Lawrence's cell phone in case they get lost or run into any problems.

We will be meeting up at Horton Plaza parking structure at 4:00 pm
Those coming from the OC area that want to join the caravan , there will be
a caravan at the Denny's off of Alicia Parkway and the 5 frwy. I will be
there around 2:00 pm and will await Mike lawrence and the LA caravan.

I'm getting a few more things done to the R, and then I want to make a few more meets...got the front windows tinted limo to match the rears last week. Planning on powdercoating the pegs ASAP.

We got there around 4:15 pm. About 10 SAABs showed-up. We all parked at the top-level of the Horton Plaza. We waited and some of the folks took a bunch of pix but after driving 130 miles from LA, I was itching for a cold one. :D

So, we ended up at the Hard Rock Cafe for drinks ;) and dinner. After dinner, half decided to go while the other half, ahem, went to the Yardhouse :p

Left sandy eggo around 9pm, could have been a bit earlier but got kind of lost, courtesy of the one-way streets, the city's layout reminds me of San Francisco.

I had a really good time, despite getting lost twice:stupid: haha Despite what everyone said, we had no trouble finding enough parking for all of us right next to each other. There would have been plenty of room for another 10-15 cars too! Was really great fun, looking forward to the next one :tup:
