I've had my Audi A4 1.8T for about one year now, and I am looking to make some performance upgrades. However, I am fairly new to these kind of things. I was wondering what good brands are out there specifically for Audi.

If you guys have any suggestions on cold air intakes, blow off valves and where i can find a good brand, please let me know.

Also, is LLTEK a good brand for Audi?

LLtek isnt really a brand .. they just a company who elses stuff for Audi/VW. They do have some of their own lil nick nacks ... but i havent heard anything bad about LLtek except their color matching isnt always perfect

Blow off valves are bad for Audi/VW's ... highly dont recommend it, you'll end up lossing power. Just stick with normal diverter valve. There is no such thing as a good cold air intake for Audi's. The only one that comes close i think might be the Boosted Tech intake. But over the stock airbox is good enough for most uses.

Good luck, Welcome to SoCalEuro.

Well, I liked my Lltek intake I had on my A4 Lon!

Seriously, I never had any heat issues with it that people always yap about. I had that car at the track in hot weather too.

Now, that being said, there are allot of things I would do before intake and bfv. Suspension, chip, brakes, exhaust, short shifter.......all that would be on my list first.

Just my lil .02

Hi. I am running the dual-piston Forge BOV and it works great. It's designed to stay closed at idle and won't cause the "running rich" problem which is the main problem with single-piston valves.

Actually it does spike up a bit right as you let off then goes back to full lean. I will have to take those logs and log with the evo bpv back in and see how they compare.

i meant to add "once it goes closed loop".... milliseconds of richness dont affect performance nor will it fuck up your cat, the fact that your car goes 9:1 and shits unburnt fuel is a little different then someone with stock 270's compared to your 800's..... the fact remains that BOV's simply arent necessary as BOV's are for cars that move soo much air it cannot be diverted MAF or not..... it doesnt matter when the car is closed loop (ie under accel load) the fuel map will continue on as it would any other time... i saw it happen in your car....
