We were having a rough time with our VP supplier so we had to go direct to VP so we could get gas back in stock.
C-16 leaded $60.00 for 5 gallon drum
Motorsport 103 $50.00 for a 5 gallon drum.
This is definitely a bit more expensive than Trick race gas or other out of the pump high octane but there is a severe differnece between the two and the VP fuel is far superior.
VP has a much lower detonation factor and on boosted cars this gas works great. It is also very convenient to carry the 5 gallon drum where you are going (like qualcomm) and put the gas in there so you do not waste gas driving to the track.
On my 95 M3 with 6psi supercharger kit I made 26hp to the wheels on the top end because there was no timing retard issues from detonation.
