I know a guy how works at a BMW independant in Gardena that comes across these all day long, i would get an 325i rather than a 325e, an "is" is just icing on the cake, they are extreemely reliable, parts are cheap and easy to work on, just make sure the timing belts and cooling systems have been kept up on.

that sounds awesome dude! yes i really want an "is" and need something reliable. let me know.

the thing you dont want is to spend what you make in car payments, or more, each month in repairs to a 15-20 year old car

yes very true. they are pretty reliable though right?

oh yeah, they are very reliable, but remember, old is old and things will break, I would budget some money initialy for repairs that it will need right away, i.e. major service, rehose, tires, tierods, stuff like that. Let me know what you find and I'll check it out for you here at the shop
