I wish they made a turbo or sc for the 2.5.:( I'm saving up though, because as soon as it comes out, I'm first in line.:D

Shit man. I wish I could. But I don't have any car payments, and my 2.0 is an awesome car. I just need a little more love from the engine, and I'll be happy for a while.

I feel like S/Cing is the more reliable way to go since this is my daily driver. A bolt on forced induction with adjustibility that's not super crazy. I just need a little more love. Guess I could always do a cam...just won't get the increase that I'm looking for.

you can try and find a used one on the Tex for a grand or there abouts, or just buy a new one if you don't like a pain in the ass or surprises, should be easy to install from what I hear, I want one on my MK3

I've had my eye out, but haven't found any good deals. I'm not sure I want to drop $2500 into my jetta that's worth maybe $8000. It just doesn't seem right when I could save that money for something new (ahem...mkv gti). I just want something to tide me over for the next year or so.

You want a new one, get a new one, The way I see it, live for today (within reason) because you aren't guaranteed a tomorrow

neuspeed is making a turbo kit right now for the mk5 rabbit. :) going to be bad asssss.

CARB legal like thier S/C kit I hope, that would be nice, that motor is severly detuned as it is, in the Lambo it makes an under rated 500HP, and the 2.5 is literaly half of that same engine but it only puts out "150" HP, albeit with lower compression, milder cams and flow work, so it has plenty of room to grow.

Whats thier estimate on HP Dan?

Hey i have an idea... go turbo like some of these guys have said. i have a 2.slow in my mk4 golf and i put a garrett T3 on it! MUAHAHAHAHA it is so nice. if you need help or advice by all means ask away i'm happy to assist. i can put up some pictures if you want. let me know. just a heads up though it will cost about the same, maybe a little more then the current neuspeed charger.

haha serious? nice! thanks for pointing out that i was spotted by someone else too i just posted back in the sightings thread

the ouwee on my door is gettin repaired next week and the shoes are being refinished :smokem:

w/ a few other panel resprays... i'm so excited my shits gona look real clean again :ha:
