Chip at Unique Imports inc. (http://www.unique-imports.com/index.htm) for really hooking it up for a dubber in need today.
Some of you may know that the cap for my coolant recovery reservoir went missing (nevermind how), and that up until now i've been rocking duct tape and zip ties...
On a whim with time to kill I stopped into this place randomly and asked if they had the cap, Chip checked and said he wouldn't have one for a whole 2 hours and that it would set me back a staggering $5 ($1.67 cheaper than on-line before shipping)...i was stoked at that point, and THEN he said "wait a minute...you know...maybe mine will work" had me go out and pop the hood on his old somewhat beater-ish mk2 passat (i think...) and low and behold, same exact cap.
best $2 purchase ever.
he even said that if I felt like it and was in the area, i could stop back by after noon and swap it out for the brand new one.
stand up guy...I'll definitely stop by this place again!
lots of cool aircooled vintage steez stuff in the back, couple sandrails, really cherry squareback too...all in all i'd check it out of you're looking for a specialist in south county.
