Well, if it doesn't, he can always run them through with the bayonet.

The old military rifles really shoot nice, but they take someone who knows them to get them firing correctly

Good morning Paul. Hey I have a question for you..can you put a shotgun (registered) in the trunk of your car and drive her around (here in California) ?
Sure, just transport it locked. I've heard that hte trunk is considered a locked container, just don't put loose ammo in there. Ideally you should lock any gun in the trunk in a container (hard or softcase). Then lock the ammo in a separate container. This would be the best way to avoid any hassles by LE.

What are you talking about?:bs:
Took it apart last night, I couldn't wait, and the piston and
valve is perfect. Gun's in great condition other then the dinged up
stock.
Did you refinish your M1a's stock, or did it come like that?
Time to go Taliban!:p

no BS flag here, tons of those rifles are sold without guarantees that they will fire. Not all of the arsenaled Yugos come out in working condition. Glad to hear yours looks good.

reading posts like these makes me miss my airsoft PSG-1...
those gardeners with the leafblowers that always woke my hungover ass up at 7am on saturday mornings...probably don't share my sentiments.
I don’t believe in Guns! Or is that Gun control I get them confused?

I spent my gun savings on a tattoo a while back :banghead:
tho it needed to be finished.
Once I have the $$, I'll have to decide between a handgun [mini glock or Sig] or an assault rifle [sks or ak] for my first ... definately need at least one gun here!
Assault rifle + apartments isn't much of a mix, but if I get a handgun, I'll be tempted to carry, and very tempted to use ... ;)

Nice to see guns fans!
Paul: I know about the problem some
yugos may have, Just thought you were trying to
say that all yugos and/or skss in general don't work.
Do you guys think they'll let me shoot this thing at the
ranges?
P.S: Are aftermarket pistol grip stocks legal?
I saw some sniper style rifle at turners with a pistal grip.

nah there illigal i think....like pistol grip shotguns are tight that also have a butstock (kinda like those auto'd door busters)
oh not at all, just that it's been hit/miss for most folks. For the money if you get a functioning firearm they're great fun.
No pistol grip = illegal on semi-auto center fire magazine fed rifles.
Pistol grip/Thumbhole stocks are legal on bolt action however.
Yes ranges let you shoot yugos, American Shooting Center will. You can shoot up to 30-06/308 there rifle caliber wise. I shoot my M1A there all the time... just to make sure it still works ;)

It's not mine, obviously. But it's still good clean fun to shoot it. It's not as much fun to clear the jams, every 10 rounds.

We also carry Sig 9mms in areas where people don't like us.
But I don't have my own gun, yet. I'm looking at factory refurbished Sig .40s, but I just a cell phone and skis, so if someone breaks into my house, I'm going to have to stab them with a ski pole.

The Mauser is unfortunately inoperable, which is mainly why I did the Han Solo DL-44 conversion on it. I think I've got a couple hundred dollars in parts into that thing, basically just a costume prop with some nice WWII parts on it: MG-42 flash hider, modified Hellcat MG muzzle adaptor (cut to mount on front of magazine housing), an old Remington scope...
Anyways, yes one of my favorites too. :)

I was thinkin the same thing.. lmao.. that can't be real gun.. WTF? i mean i wouldn't put it past our govt. to make something like that.. but yeesh.. lol
I hope the person with all th guns is either military or a cop.. cause if not.. i am very scared..
Why are you scared of people with guns. Law abiding citizens with guns = good. Criminals with guns = bad. We need reasonable and effective gun laws not stupid feel happy bullshit that the people of state seems to love so much.

+1 Paul
Ridiculously stricter gun laws do not have any leverage against criminal activity.
+2 Paul
only criminals (and dems) fear armed citizens
Got another one!
Anyone else?
I scraped off the shellac and got all the oils out.
Bear wood right now, but it's going to look like like the second one when
it's done.:smokem:
5'4' with the bayonet on.

working perfectly. :)
