A friend of mine said he bought some merc back in the 80's--had it imported to the US--said it had over 500hp. I don't know if I should believe him or not. He allways tells me the Model, but I all ways forget. I guess it was a rare car...

I'm sorry, but Motorsport wheels on a 4,100lb luxury touring Mercedes is just stupid, even if they do cost a million bagillion dollars.

IMHO, BBS should be reserved for the C, CLK, and SL models. you know, the ones that actually have some use for motorsport wheels...otherwise, I think they detract from the overall aesthetics and the design principles inherent to Mercedes Benz.

Of all the Merc's pictured in this thread, this is my favorite. It is extremely subtle. Classy, simple styling. Screams "Sleeper". The only thing that even remotely resembles race is the lowered stance. Definitely :tup2:.
