safety belt help

.. soo i hop in my car, turn it on.. like usual the seat belt light is on.. then it goes off.. then i put on my seat belt and it goes back on..? o_O and now it wont turn off... anyone have this problem before...?

haven't seen that problem before, but similar ones. usually the airbag light will stay on, but the seatbelt buckles in mk4's tend to go bad. the wires in them for the microswitch inside the buckle get cut from flexing.

my blet light has been on for 4 years. It has worked fine with no problems in all my travels in my golf. It keeps throwing a "tensioner" code. some thing about it being to tight. I had it look at by a guy from the dealer and my censor is bad. but the belt is fine. Im out of warenty when it happened so he told me know to worry about it. lol
