what happens if u run no oil on cold air intake cone filter?

oil helps dirt particles cling to the filter so its needed, just dont over oil it because it will hurt your MAF, use the K&N filter oil or ATF in a like large eye drop thingy and apply lightly to each rib and fold.

The filter will not filter as well, and dirt will get past the cotton gauze, basically not a smart thing to do. The oil is good, just don't over oil the filter. The oil is what actually catches the dirt.

i c tahts what i figured... i just got it today and installed it... its a full cold air kit goes down i had to reposition some stuff... nothing icoudlnt handle... but the car feels like it lost power at lower rpms.... is this normal?
