So my keys are lost, I tried getting a new set by my vin but my PO had another ignition switch installed so it has 2 keys. one for doors and one for the ignition. so to get 2 new lock cylinders and a new igition i'm quoted at like 580 bucks at classic.
Anyone know of a locksmith that can key my doors AND my ignition? Everyone i've talked to can only do the doors. This is gonna clean my broke ass out so if anyone has any input it'd be appreciated.

I'm just worried someone picked up my keys and is gonna steal my ride. They'res only a few vws in my complex and i'm pretty sure i dropped them outside my apt and someone swooped on them.

Well I guess consider yourself lucky.
I got quoted over 1,500$ for replacing my cylinders on my driver side door and trunk without labor.

What about buying a new ignition switch with keys, then get the doors rekeyed by a locksmith to match?
