I like the forum but the avitars are were really confusing to look at how they're
ontop of the post...

It would look allot cleaner and simpler to have them on the side. :)

good thought....that might do the trick...and get the user info under the avatar instead of on the far right. then yeah...the typed text on the right of the avatar.

and not too bad on the spelling...although...its spelled.... avatar...not avitar. otherwise i just think that your spelling is just fine.

Not to rush the Admin's but maybe we can get rid of that Lakers poll and all the old stuff on the front page? Maybe link the photos of users cars from Bugzy's thread and have the pictures on a slide show effect....each time you refresh the home page a new picture comes up. Something of that nature maybe?

I wouldn't know it if I was, so I don't think about it, which is a very damning statement.

The avatars are fine where they are... they act like sig, and they don't kill width on the point of a forum: CONTENT.

"I want sig images!"
"The avatars are confusing being on top of the post!"

Does anyone else not realize how contradictory those two statements are? Sig images break up the post content in the same way an avatar at the top of the post breaks up post content. Or would you rather have avatars placed on the bottom?

Oh, no... you want BIGGER images. And you want TWO of them. So we can all look at a 30-second load as the server fishes 650x100 pixel sigs from all over the internet and you can show off your pchop skillz.

After a few days, I've adjusted to this layout and like it better than the old SCE forum. I am happy that we don't have sig pics, and I actually wish the avatars were smaller.

If you guys want to show off your pshop skillz, start a new thread.

I say forget the images all together.... No sig images no avitars. If people want to see your images, they can click on the user name and look at the profile.

Or at least make the avitars a decent size, like godzillas. Tiny and makes the point.
