Thats what I said but with a different number when the Lifegaurd ambushed me carrying pallets to the pit at La Jolla Shores.

If someone with a truck drives down Pomerado road from miramar into poway, there are always pieces of good firewood people dump in the little turnoffs on the right shoulder. I always see people stopping when a new pile gets dumped off.

Someone could probably pick up a full cord of wood if they had a big enough truck and got there on a good day. Then all we would need is a dry place to store it and an axe to spit it.

If I wasn't so busy lately I would volunteer to do it.

We could always just pick a beach that isn't so snobby about their bonfires
