Yep! Got my Special Edition pre-ordered. I got it with Free Overnight Shipping and they're shipping them out on the 8th so I'll have it on the 9th and I didn't have to pay tax. :tup:

i believe GT4 is in december, but since i haven't played my PS2 since i got the xbox, i'm not likely to pick up GT. plus, GT4 IS NOT going to have any online play built in. supposedly they will release another version in about 6 months that will have online capabilities. if you want a super badass, fun, racing game, pick up burnout 3.

Man I haven't even tried any X-Box live games. I bought the X-Box to play Halo. That's the only game I have :D

When I hook it up for Halo2 I'll let you know.

Yeah I played that at a friend place. A lotta fun with drifting and stuff but it feels less like a simlulation and more like an Arcade game. My PS2 is ready for GT4.

Yeah, some of the music from Halo 1 redone by a bunch of different bands...

It's a great idea. The music set up so much of the ambiance in the first one that now with the Urban combat it gives it more of a hard edge.

You can listen to a few songs on nile rogers' (http://www.nilerodgers.com/nile_rodgers.htm) site. Very cool stuff.
