What do you like better color or black and white?
BTW this is Chris Forney's car after getting the coilovers on at PureMotorsports yesterday!

Not bad. Maybe it's my monitor, but the blacks have not detail at all.
Unless that's what you were going for, then it looks great.

Ack. If you shot it in color, then it's color. Changing it to black and white is worse than cropping it to look like you shot it medium.
Am I the only photo-nazi on this site?

You must be. ;)
Why not convert it to B&W. The sensors on the digicams only capture in color, so why does it matter if you let the camera convert it or do it in photoshop.
And what's wrong with cropping?
Don't tell me you're one of those anti-Photoshop types as well.

Not anti-photoshop...but anti-making-bad-photos-look-good.
I'll play devil's advocate. If your camera isn't capable of shooting a certain way, then you shouldn't shoot it. I don't shoot a digital photo, crop it, put a film border on it, and say I shot it with a Hassleblad. I can't argue this to people who shoot only digital, but there's a certain amount of purity in shooting a photo properly and enjoying it—not sitting at a computer and hacking it up in order to be what you really wanted. Okay, sure, crop in on that party photo to get rid of the negative space. But why, in your right mind, would you take the time to compose a photo and have it not be what you wanted? If you blew it, take it and go re-shoot it.
None of this means I'm king-photographer...just a photo nazi. ;)

Digital photos are flat with no true blacks or whites—I correct that, make sure the colors are accurate, and sharpen it slightly. I don't make the photo something it isn't.
