HI guys, hope everyone had good Chirstmas. In today's paper (wheels) they had wrote up on the C30 heico car. Volvo expects to have a range of accessories and performance upgrades provided by at least the three groups that built the concept cars at SEMA. When the C30 goes on sale this summer. Most likely its for the C30 line. It wil go from 218hp sock to Heico 320hp. So, watch out GTI's.


This mouth Motor Trend, they tested the S60R form evolve. He just came out with his trubo upgade, watch comes with ballbearing trubo, exhaust manifold, external wast, down pipe, FMIC, oversize injecters, ECU, pop-off valve and tolal of 430hp. 0-60 4.7, quarter in 13.1sec @ 111.1.

Doug, I like your mucho beater. Your turbo upgade. You get more for the $ :tup:

The thing that strikes me as funny is for all the money Evolve will charge for their performance package that they could not get it faster than this.

Dont get me wrong the 0-60 is quick almost Porsche quick (non turbo) but the 1/4 mile is on par with a Stage 2+ Dodge neon or a Stock SS Camaro. Is'nt the S60R an AWD car too?

yep. 111 trap isn't bad but not fantastic. Should be in the low 12's with traps like that.

I would have thought with the 6speed that it would do very well. IS the S60R gearing bad or is it just not robust enough to handle the loads?

i really have no idea, but i'm guessing that's the bottleneck. :/ everything else about the car seems decent.
