PS2 GT4 Endurance Event!!! [Archive]

This is a last minute event that we will be hosting at JMC Motorsports.

Date: Monday Jan 1
Time: 12 Noon
Where: JMC Motorsports
4783 Ruffner Street, San Diego, 92111

What: This will be a 30 Lap Endurance Race at the Nurburgring on Linked PS2s. Everyone will be running the same car, the LM Camaro. Driver swaps are allowed, but only during Pit Stops!

Anyone interested, either post here, or call me direct.

30 laps of the ring? Hung over, ouch my arthritis, I have yet to complete ANY of the endurance races, fun times though for sure

You don't have to do the whole 30 laps yourself. You can do as many or as few as you want. But you can only change drivers during a Pit Stop, so you gotta finish the Lap your on!

Sounds like a blast, too bad it wouldn't be worth the drive.

So the PS2s are linked at the JMC shop? Will they be linked to to PS2s outside the shop, ie, online?

Yeah, the PS2s are linked here at the shop. No they are not linked to the Outside World. We don't want to worry about compromising the company network. Not that there's all that much "Classified" stuff here, we just don't want to link it to the outside world.

OK, I was just wondering. I have PS2 but I've never played anything on-line. Is is possible to play GT4 like that?
