Apexi Turbo Timer

Can anyone tell me if the wiring for the Greddy Turbo Timer and the Apexi Turbo Timer are the same? In this tech article, http://www.audiworld.com/tech/elec98.shtml, it says to cut the blue wire off entirely because it is for the ebrake function...is this the same for the Apexi? (They have the same wires, but the Apexi has an additional gray wire for ebrake too) What if i want to use the ebrake function, what do i connect it to? or should I not even bother? Thanks

I have just installed a Greddy "Full Auto Timer" ( Turbo Timer) two nights ago. The Blue wire on the harness connects to the Accesory wire on the Ignition. The Purple wire connects to the Speed Signal line. And the brown connects to the ebrake. I was reading the instructions. The brakeline senses if the brakeis up and allows timer to countdown when the ebrake is applyed. If you have the speed signal line hooked up it will alert the count down timer and shut the engine off if it detects that you are moving. I dont know if it is the same as the APexi but this info may help you.
