Yes today the rest of the parts should be here and Saturday I will be adding a new set of Koni springs and Koni adjustable struts to my 2000 9-3.

This should be a good upgrade since the stock suspension totally sucks!!

i will post pics before and after the install.

Ok so I got the front struts/springs done on the car. Now that I am in the back I am having issues with removing the bump stops from the old springs. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated as this is a real PITA!!!!!!!

There is a lip in the bump stop that rests under the 1st coil that seems like it needs to be compressed prior to the removal but I have tried all means possible and not 1 bit of luck!!!

Here is an example of the spring and bump stop ... PICTURE is 1/2 way down on Right (http://photo.platonoff.com/Auto/20050215.Saab_NG900_Rear_Suspension/)

Well the suspension is 1/2 done after having issues with the rear bump stops so I thought I would post up some pics of how its looking. You can see the rear is sitting about an 1" higher but after this saturday it should be all done.

Looks very nice . . .

Last time I saw your car was a year ago at Philippes . . .

Do you plan to do the poly bushings somewhere down the road?

Made a difference for me . . .

Yeah when I have another $300 to spend I will do the poly's but for now the car handles pretty good so far with just 1/2 the suspension setup.

Nice.. does koni make springs for the new 93's??(SS)

I know they make the FSD strut line (http://www.koni-na.com/display.cfm?mt_id=1&mod_id=0&mak_id=38&my_year=2005&submit=Continue)for the SS but not sure on the springs but I dont think so.

Look for Vogtland spring number 955072 and I believe that is the right spring for the SS and is made for Koni.

Thanks guys........

I think the FSD's are the way to go on the SS's since they are supposed to give the best ride and performance that you could ever want.

The car is sitting really nice and level now since I got the back done. I need to do some trimming on the bumpstops since the rear is riding on the stops right now.

Yeah I have been lazy and the car has been very dirty so I have been putting off the side shots. But its Car show season so the car will be getting a clay bar and wax this weekend and after that hopefully I can get you some side shots of her.

But really you would not believe how dirty she is right now....... :( :(
