are there any markups going on on these cars? My mother may come off her S500 lease early and is looking at one of these  faster and more luxurious [and actually...cheaper] than the M5s we were looking at.

There are no markups on the E63. If anything they're giving massive discounts as they're not selling so well.

cool. i wasn't there, but they were at penske yesterday, and they're going to be giving them a good deal [theyve been doing their leases at penske for the last 12 years or so -- 2 E320s, an S430, and an S500 all for 3 year leases].

she's looking at the AMG cars now :D hopefully I'll be albe to go and test drive 'em next time :) just read the C&D where htey had a shootout between the S6, E63 and M5, and the E63 came out on top. the S-class is just too big for her.

The E would be a perfect size. The S is huge.

See if Penske can do the AMG lease special with 0.00125 money factor.

yeah she's about 5'1" and can barely drive an E, let alone an S, rofl.

explain the AMG lease special?

The lease special was $999/month for 39 months on the E55's. There might be some dealers willing to extend that to the E63's or at least come close to that.

You should be able to negotiate a nice deal. There is a good discount on all E classes, but especially the E63.

now she's gone form wanting a sedan to a 'vert or a coupe..sports car.

she'll probably get an E350 to replace her camry, and then get her sports car...she really like the SLK55, but she's also looking at the maserati coupés. she likes the elise and exige, as well as porsches, but she can't drive manual :P

Funny you mention the E350. Someone just got a great deal on one from Vadim @ MBLN. After repeating the figures to my mom she seems to be interested too.

Can I have your house payment? Then $999/month would be no problem. ;)

makes sense, i guess. my mother can't drive worth a crap [seriously, i fear for my life every time im riding shotgun, and offer to drive every time we go anywhere]

so it's kinda a double edged sword. i'm only home on the weekends, and i'd get to drive it then, but during the week, i'm not sure it'd be safe to put her behind 500+ HP.

at least they've all got good brakes :P she can't drive manual, so it'd have to be semiauto/F1 or auto. she wants to keep her payments under $1600/month with little down (lease).

so if any good deals on any cars meeting that criteria come up, lemme know! :D no body style restrictions. if she gets a coupe or a sports car, then she'll trade the camry in on a luxury sedan [lexus/mb/bmw] if it's a vert it's gotta be hardtop. :)

You can easily get an E63 for that kind of money. Acyually, youd be getting ripped off, even if it were loaded!!

The E350 deals are $550 loaded with $3k out the door.

right now she's looking at 911's or Caymans with tiptronic. I'm sure she could handle the payments on a more expensive car, but it'd probably be best to go with something a little less expensive since she just bought a new house, and is remodeling the old house for sale.

maybe after she sells off the old house and one of her vacation homes, she might be able to go with something more luxurious. :D

Yeah.. Realtors make some big money... Thing is, you gotta know where to join, and make sure you get in early. Realtors out here in Hemet are making BIG sums of cash because huge houses here are only a FRACTION of a house half the size down in SD, OC, and LA.

*sigh*

Good luck living in the middle of nowhere. I like my Fusion meets to be 10 mins away vs 90.

No mark-ups on E63. Perhaps a deal can be found on a used one?

what about a new SL? they are luxurious, automatic, hardtop verts', with some real power.
