San Diego BMW Z club going at Meguiar's - Jan 20th, 2007

The San Diego BMW Z Car Club went to Meguiar's headquarters in Irvine this Saturday to attend the Car Care Clinic. Meguiar's generously offered doughnuts and coffee for breakfast and ordered everyone sodas and pizza for lunch. We learned about Meguiar's history, the differences between the different brands of products, and how to use their products. One car from the club was chosen and everyone worked together to clay the whole car. Then they cleaned and waxed the hood.

I see free product everywhere. :tup:

We went up there for the MB day at Meguiars. Good learning experience. The teacher was awesome. Everytime he answered a question you were kind of like :eek: "did he just say that?"

Yup, everyone got a goodie bag w/ sample products and we could choose two more products from the self. I got their new claybar kit (included clay, qd spray, mf towel, small bottle of wax) and ScratchX.

I'm really glad they clarified for me the difference between a glaze, polish, sealant, and wax... those have always confused me. And the difference between their deep crystal, gold class, professional, and detailer lines of products... i love Meguiar's because they are pretty good products that you can get for cheap at Walmart/Autozone/xxx, but their product selection has always been confusing for me... now i'm less confused.
