So this morning I get up and decide to detail both cars. I start with the wife's Impala. Everything went great, looks as good as new.
Then, I get to the GTI. As I am washing it, I start noticing a bunch of rock chips on my front bumper and a couple scratches from door dings on my rubber moldings (which are color-matched). One more scratch on the driver side fender made me think to myself: no big deal, these are pretty small... there is a mini touch up kit in the glove box that came with the car.
Well... the FUCKING PAINT DOESN'T MATCH!!! It's waaaay darker, even though it is the same color code as the car.
Now I have a car that looks like it has chicken pox or bad acne. http://www.socal3g.com/forums/images/smilies/soapbox.gif
Any ideas on how to undo the damage?
