Sup guys so i need some help with tire sizes. I think i am going to buy some wheels. They are 8x18 and the offset is 35mm. I kind of want the tires to stretch a little bit. What size is need for it to look hot haha?

for MK4, and 18x8, your not gonna stretch, unless you want it impractical

stick with 225/40/18 for 18x8

Depending on the tire brand you use, some of them give a stretched look even while retaining that 225/40-18 size, because of slight manufacturing varations between companies and tire molds. Falken Ziex's for example, look stretched in that size. As compared to Goodyear F1s, which don't look stretched.

I had 18x8 on the front of my GTI and I ran 215/40/18 Falken Ziex ZE-512 tires on em. Here is how they looked.

decent, tasteful stretch. nothing extreme at all.
