SQR SAAB Tuning Session In California March 6,7,8

For those who are new to the SAAb community SQR is one of the Chip Tuners for SAAB ECU's. Frank Stromquist is a master tuner who comes over from Sweden about 5 times a year to do custom in house and rolling road tuning sessions for SAAB's and Volvo's.

For the 1st time SQR and Automotion (the US Retailer for SQR products) will be hosting an in house tuning session on the West Coast.

One of the key benefits to using SQR will the be the ability to have your specific setup dialed in for your car rather than using a Mailbox tune that is only 95% right for your car.

Me either.. I think Andrew was thinking about heading up and maybe a few others. I will post up a thread on the SoCalSAAB board to see and maybe one on TSL too.

Hmm, caravan.. good call. Not sure how many people are going to be cruising up from down here, but even if its just me and someone else thats better than nothing!

Also, it is worth noting that in the first post it says that 04+ 9-5's are T8 which is incorrect. 2004-05 9-5's are still T7, I believe it was 2006 they went to T8(possibly even MY07).

Well, I am definitely going. Whether or not I will be getting tuned by Frank is still up in the air, need to finish up some of the hardware mods and not sure if I will have the time and money to do so before march. Either way though, I will definitely be heading up there to watch the action and hang out. I think there is a person from SC named Mala who is planning on getting tuned as well, but not positive.

So, ideally it would be TRI, Mala, Drew and me.. that would be pretty fun! Especially if we take the 101 the whole way, just an awesome drive. I think TopNach and his buddy said they might be interested in coming up just to watch as well.
