So im on my way to work like usually and right before i get to old town . I saw this bike cop with his lights on in the fast lane(after i passed the guy) He was stuck behind two cars. And i dint have anywere to go or hide. I was like o shit im so fuked now speding over 100MPH and no cat open wastgate ...............ect.....I was in the second to slow lane at approx 118 or so( just driving reg). So i start to pull over to the slow lane and start to get of on the off ramp and then this CHP get right behind me and turns his siren on. So i pull into the shell(i think) and pull into the handicap spot, the yell at me get out of the handicap spot.(I was like o shit). Then he come to my window and start of by saying" i got you for exiding the speed limit over 90MPH, reckless driving, unsafe lane change, window tint, no seat belt and no front license plate.( so im thinking O shit im fucked) But what i was really worried about was , that the guy might ask me to pop my hood or check for a cat. So then he says give me your license( OK) . Then he said get out of the car.(loud and angry). Starts to tell me im sure you are generally a nice guy, until you get behind the well and start endangering other peoples lives.( so im bowing my head down going yes sir). So he said get you insurance and registration. The guy starts to write the ticket. Then he says you know what im going to give you a break. ( o shit Cool) Im going to give you a ticket for speeding at 90MPH on a 65zone, and im going to give you a warning for reckless driving. ( so im like O shit that fucking cool). Then he says , your lucky this isn't a R32. So i go o yea why? Said yea those things are all wheel drive and about 240 HP. Those thing move pretty fast. So im like o shit no way. So hes writing my ticket . He sais o your just a year older than my daughter ( soon as he said that i was thinking o really, but i was like dont push your luck) And i sign for the tiket. Then he says so how much power does your car make . ( i wanted to say 286HP but i thought about it twice) So i said o I dint know i never dyno it. So then he said so is this thing stock. I said yea its just lowerd. Cop said so what are you lake for . I said work. Cop says o were do you work i said City VW Cop says o ok what do you do I said Technician. O OK. Cops like o yea im 50 years old and i love dong this chasing cars on the freeway between traffic its fun. Im like 0 that cool. So i said ok thks. Cops like what time are you suppose to be at work i said 8:00 .And thats the end . all and all this CHP was pretty cool with me. Besides the point were he was pissed at the begging. But i can understand.

Dude, Juan, you got lucky man. That cop was probably just writes those kinds of tickets cuz they don't take as long and he can go out and find more people to weave through traffic and catch. 90 in a 65 tho. that will be close to 400 dollar ticket buddy!

I got rolled for 95 in a fifty, but he said that he knew I was doing over a 100 (i slowed down because I saw break lights come on the car ahead of me, i was doing 120, I didnt even let him chase me as soon as I saw him with his radar gun on me I pulled over. he was totally cool and didn't bust my balls about the plate or the tint, he wrote me for 80 in a 65 and told me to trade my car in on a Focus. smiling the whole time. Seal beach cops are pretty laid back lucky for me, I got the fine and it was $130 with traffic school, my buddy who got nailed on the 14 for 105 wasn't so lucky, almost $900

I dunno, I was with my (ex)gf one time and she got clocked at 103 (luckily not the 127 we hit a few miles earlier!) and the cop still gave her a ticket for 90.

Maybe you should set your alarm 10 minutes earlier so you don't have to go warp speed to get to work on time. :p

Man Juan, you are hella lucky he didnt pull you out of the car and beat you with the way you describe how angry he was at first!

It did not take me long to get a ticket up here in Montana. I was cruising down the highway doing about 90 in a 65 :stupid: , and this Montana Highway Patrol came out of nowhere (even said he was following me for 3 miles). He was extremely nice and asked me for my info, I gave him all my Cali stuff and explained I just moved here and all.

He said that he had to do 110 to catch up to me :smokem: , and told me that he doesnt tolerate speeders on his highway and went back to his patrol car (this is where I was really bummed).

He came back and very nicely said welcome to Montana, I am going to cut you a break and write you for 10 mph over the speed limit (80 in a 70) and told me that I could pay the fine (post bond) which is only 20 to him right there!

The cool thing about it is that it does not get reported to the dmv or the insurance company!! I guess living up here has more than one advantage!

Have fun in traffic school Juan :)

Seriously though, some cop almost rear ended ME, and somehow it was my fault didnt cut his ass off or anything. He pulled me over and was super pissed. Then he goes on about how pissed he was and sh*t. He gives me a ticket for an "unsafe lane change" which is totally f*cked up because I dint change lanes. Anyway the ticket came out to $200 and I spent 8hrs of my sat in traffic school to avoid the bump in my insurance. F*ck da police.

Back in october the Clmt office hit me with a $800 something fine, 30 day liscence suspension and mandatory 16 hour traffic school. 104 in a 65 (same spot where juan was). I was going 120 most of the way down from Del Mar, but luckily his radar got me after I hit the brakes.

That big of a penalty makes you think twice about going that fast. Sure its fun but not worth $800.

heh. I wouldn't suggest that to a cop unless you want to spend a night in jail
Had a friend of mine get pulled over in Missouri. Cop gave him a ride to the ATM so he could get money to pay the fine, then drove him back to his bike and sent him on his way.

It was either that or take him to jail, and I guess the cop didn't want to bother with it.

And yea i can usually get away with stuff or at least most of the times. And even in this case i got away very lucky, the cop gave me a hell of a break !

I actually did not have the money on me. He said I could write him a check (made out to MHP) or I could take the ticket and mail in my 20 dollars, which is what I did.

And the highest posted speed limit I have seen in this part of Montana is 75MPH.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention that he did ask me about my car, I told him that it is a stock turbo. Then I asked him about his patrol car, he said it is a special edition Dodge Intrepid, rear wheel drive V8! (I know that AZ has some of these cruising around in plain clothes). Pretty cool...
