If You Welded A Portugese Warehouse Shut With 180 Classics Inside, We’d Like A Word With You

The boys over at Jalopnik tipped us off as to what they describe as an “Ali Baba”-like treasure: a warehouse in Portugal doubling as a crypt for 180 European cars of every stripe.
As the story goes, the door to the place was welded shut, ensuring that the trove of Alfa Romeos, Lancias, Renaults, Jags, Volkswagens, Porsches, and the odd open-wheeler would remain undisturbed for 15 years.
Now disinterred, there’s as-yet no word on who owns the vehicles, or what fate will befall the dusty classics.
