took this with my camera phone. i need ONE for the left rear. 2 bolt slots are stripped. how much, whats it called, and is it only that one cylinder peice.
i need it asap.

are you talking about the rotor? or the hub / bearing combo underneath it? I just replaced mine about 200 miles ago.

ya, i thought it was the hub too. its where you screw the bolts for your wheels into. 2 of those slots are stripped. thanks.

btw, is it easy//quick to install? any special tools or certain tools needed?

doesnt take too long at all....ned a couple special tools
gonna need a bearing puller...and something with a little oomph to get the inner bearing race off of the axle.

wow.. thats an awesome write-up.

im starting a full schedule for spring semester which starts tomorrow along with my full time work sched. and baseball. i will absolutely have no time for this.. :(

i'll prob pick up the part this tues from parts4vw and i'll have some time on thus to have the hub assem replaced.

anyone need some extra cash that can get this done same day?? Carlos.. looking in your direction..:D :p

You need to replace the hub and bearing together.
We have them in stock here.
