Howdy!

I have a Magellan 700 and my new Audi is so nice and quiet the sound of the GPS windshield mount bouncing about is annoying (and also illegal I think!)

I know they sell a Magellan GPS bean bag mount. I would love to find one vs ordering it online. It is a sunny day, a drive sounds nice.

Best Buy, CC etc do not carry it anymore because the 700 was discontinued.

I live in Diamond Bar but am happy to drive around. Anyone know of a good GPS type specialty shop in Southern California?

Thanks!

Leslie

Maybe try REI, they have a decent amount of GPS gear ... but honestly, i think you'd have to find stuff like that at the big electronics stores

did you try calling around? Try Fry's?

Yep Yep!

I tried all the large stores. Because the item was discontinued, they sent stock back. However, many of the mom and pop stores keep older mods around.

I even called Magellan and they could not provide any information because they do not want to single a place out. Their website only lists by city which is a total pain!
