nice car
but not worth it
new in Japan, they were 60-70k .. imported to US, you can buy them for $90k
my buddy had a white R34, and he sold his for $100k, 2 years ago
Id save that $ for an R8, even though the R34 probably would beat it in many conditions ... the R8 is just sexy :)

last i heard the R34 wasnt legal. there is only a small handful that slipped through the cracks and got legalized. so this is well worth the money

i heard that in japan sometimes you have to import it from somewhere else in the world because all the skylines are being exported to ppl buying them up.

The R34 can't be imported and legalized anymore. Thus the huge price... I believe they are revoking the legalization for all of them because motorex was found to have forged paperwork to get them legalized in the first place. Which could prove to be a huge problem...
this looks to be one of the Motorex cars. Which would be tough...
of course, if you have that kind of money, grey-market legalization is just a few phone calls away... ;)
I want the 69 Autstin Mini.

same here!
but $29k?
Family Classic is basically the Jeeps R Us of classics.
(what I mean by that is that they get away with charging their outrageous prices solely because of their location)

I spent 2 years in Oki and you can pay this dude 2k and he would import to the US but then you have to spend a butload of money legalizing everything from subframe work to glass and emissions and all that good stuff.....you can buy them pretty cheap if their used...

$30k for a 69 Austin Mini is about right, if it's restored, b/c Austin did not make many Mini S's.
Sold my 67 Austin Mini Cooper Radford S for that much 10 years ago.
