Ever since getting back from texas and having another car thats actually reliable ive considered selling the GTi. its approaching 200,000 miles and to me it seems like so much needs to be done, well, a bunch of wants, ie, rebuild the motor or swap in a 1.8t (although it runs great, just need to add coolant ever couple of weeks and other old motor problems:rolleyes: ), coilovers, new paint. I just dont see time or money in the future, i'd rather sell it and buy a motorcylce in a year. ehh tell me what you think.

if you dont have money and/or time to fix it i dont see why you should keep it. let someone else spend the money and time on it. + its always good knowing that you can go almost anywhere on a reliable car

Reliability is key to low stress, Its nice to have a car you can count on to get in, start, and drive anywhere at the drop of a hat.

Or you can save it if you have a soft spot for it (and a place to store it) for a few years untill you have the funds and time to mess with it if you don't need the cash to buy something else

back in 2004, pretty much unchanged since then, the car was hardly use for two years, just mom doing some grocery shopping

not sure, but the top of the car is really thin, some white patchs.
