good supercharger for VR6

ey i wanna put a good stage 1 or 2 supercharger in my '96 gti VR6, i choose a s/c over a turbo because a lower upkeep and i just like what s/c have to offer, but bottem line i want a cheep good product, but im willing to spend more money then to sacrifice severe quality....i really dont know that much about the diferent brands so if anybody can help me out that would be great....

good and cheap usually don't go together but I also recommend VF
