as most of you know i just got new gli headlights for my jetta.. now i want to protect them from chips.. im leaning towards laminx for protection but i thought some of you might have other ideas... anyone use a different product or have a product review on laminx?

obviously you do not have to go with yellow, but you get the idea. LaminX protects my glass. :D

i was considering getting the clear from laminx but i know the tail light laminx is a pain in z ass to put on

Eh. Simple to put on. . . just take your time and I do recommend using a heat gun/hair dryer to perfect edges and what not.

does the laminx fade with time? or if i someone get like car wax on it will it ruin it...

I would recommend waxing them whenever you are doing your car. Apply a thin coat then buff off. Easy. Should not fade.

i got clear laminx on my headlights...its awesome! but liek chris said wax them every once in a while

oh and it helps when u apply them with water then squeege it out

yea...i just thot id add that since i when i first read the directions i was like wtf? put water on the sticky side??!!

hey i just heard that laminx or anything else on your headlights effects beam pattern is that true or just true of the plastic protectors?
