1985 FJ60 Landcruiser, solid as a tank, perfect for a trail rig. Never been in any accidents that I can tell. 4WD works, Hi and Low, stock Toyota Aisin hubs
$2750
150K (don't remember, haven't looked lately but its around there
Has a new or recent in the last couple of years (sits more than its driven, maybe 1000-1500 miles a year):
Clutch
P/S Pump
P/S hoses
steering box
steering linkage
OME steering dampner
Tune up
Radiator
Thermostat
Alternator
Complete rehose of cooling system with O.E.M. Toyota hose
New carb from Specter Offroad
New O.E.M. Toyota smog pump ($900, rebuilds dont flow enough to pass smog)
Cat
Flowmaster
Good Pirellii Scorpions
Rancho shocks
Other small things as needed I have forgoten.

The bad,
Pictures make the paint look better than it is, It had an Earl Shieb repaint at one point and is fading.
Rusty roof
rusty right A-pillar
tail gate, fender arches and underbody dry, no rust, it sat by the beach in Del Mar
Needs a header from Man-a-fre or Downey, or the exhaust manifold resealed as it has a leak.

Maybe you should buy it so you can drive it in all that open space to avoid the congestion on MM blvd, 5, 805, 15, 163, 8, 52, 78, etc, etc. Oh that's right. I forgot you don't HAVE any more open space left there. ;) BTW, you need to come out soon.

does seem like a good deal, Mike.

come on paul, this is a perfect trail rig, you don't want to get brush scratches and boulder dings on your FJC............ Besides, this one has a solid front axle, both axles are Dana 60 equivelent, and no electronics to go screwey in the wet (I've had it upto water under the headlights) If you don't mind some elbow grease for the header swap or resurfacing the intake..................... Its on craigslist now for $2000 so it will be gone soon.

FYI - I have an FZJ80. Try posting it at http://www.ih8mud.com. That seems to be FJ specific.

g/l with the sale. I've always wanted an fj60 to have as that 4x4 to keep in my mountain cabin that I would go visit in winter, but I have to get rich first.

By that I mean I will hack off the rusted roof and fab an eight point cage with half doors and a bimini top, kind of like this but not in pink, sand camo with a lift and 35's
