Unfortunately it was not what I expected, numbers were 265whp and 276wtq on 91 octane, boost @ 25psi and it was about 70f. i have the APR stage 3+ kit, TT 2'5 exhaust runing a CAT, intake, abd intake manifold, N75 H, custom FMIC, HKS BOV.
I was expecting a little more http://vwvortex.com/zeroforum_graphics/mad.gif , do you guys think that theres something wrong with the programming or anything or these numbers are fine? Thank you for your time

If he had the stock turbo it would make those the best numbers ever (sans nitrous) put down...

APR S3+, right? There should be plenty of other dynos to compare to on Vortex. But yeah, ryour numbers are low, but not too bad. I put down 275/270 whp/wtq on my 28RS with REVO.

By the way, 25psi is a lot for pump gas—you're running lean up top.

I put down 344whp @27psi on 116 octane.

was that on you stock internals?? cuz i read on the apr site that is highly recomended to upgrade internals for levels above 93oct

btw those are sick numbers:headbang:

Yeah stock internals...but please refer to my "engine go boom" post somewhere on this forum. Haha.

I run 100 octane on stock internals no problem. That's with GIAC "Race" program and stock turbo.

just checked the APR site and you should be putting down 340!!! i have the stage II and it's putting out ~250 so you better be topping that by more than 15hp!!

Those are crank ratings on the site, not wheel horsepower. 265whp = ~310...

You probably don't have 250hp, either. If your'e lucky, a stock turbo 1.8t puts out 200whp on pump, which is about 230 crank horsepower.

What kind of Dyno is that, and how many runs?

Ya thats a pretty low number for a Apr stage 3+, I think once you go back with a higher octane you should see a much better number but still there is something wrong there? The type of dyno you run it on also makes a huge difference. Maybe thats why? I'm running a SK04 turbo w/ pretty much the same bolt ons as you and it came out with 244whp I don't know what dyno or oct. gas because it was dynoed by the previous owner. All I know is you should be able to murder my numbers.

those aren't low numbers. that's perfectly normal for the crappy 91 octane that's around here. If you were to run 93 or better...you would be closer to the 300 whp that you are looking for. the set up you are running is fine. try running a mix of race gas and pump gas and see what you get then. your stock internals will be fine up to around 320 whp. after that...you'd be pushing them.

Those are some sick A$$ number!! Did you have fans running up front? If not that would help with about 10hp I think.

should be in the 270+whp... try a 3" tb or dp, what fueling are you running? injector size and fpr? higher octane would net you more gains like 93+...but here in socal 93+ gas is very hard to find IMO, and stock rods will want to shoot out when your nearing the 300+ tq area...

Goodluck Huitzi... good numbers considering the 91 gas around here. Get a bigger dp :D

i have plans to upgrade to a 3" cat back exhaust. Im also running a CAT which i guess takes a good amount of power

Sorry, but 265whp at 25psi is not perfectly normal.

Those number sound dead on if you ran on a Dyno Dynamics Dyno.

your exhaust is not your problem have it dyno tuned dude you should have alot higher numbers than that. Im guessing if its tuned right same conditions right at or just below 300 whp and 340ish wtq
