By the way.... has anyone gone the 480p route on the PS2 on their widescreen 16:9 (on component video of course)???

I have a 50" Grand Wega on it's way to my living room... Just wondering what people experiences have been with gaming on widescreen.

After Hours is a fairly big map. It's a city map with lots of hiding/ambush spots. Theres also the subway that runs underneath the city which adds to the size. It's a suppression map.

You need the hard drive and the current issue of "The Official Playstation Mag", the one with GTA San Andreas on the cover. You could always bum the disc off someone too.

Nope, its internal. It goes behind the network adaptor.You can get it pretty much anywhere that sells PS2's. They generally cost $99 but Fry's had them for $88, so I'd try there first.

OH, that new map is out already? sweet..
Last I checked the HD only came with Final Fantasy. But I've seen a bunch on eBay just the HD alone. TIme to go shopping!

I dont think youd be able to get the new map(s) by DLing them, you try "BIt Torrent" but I doubt it. Just go to a mag. store and swipe the disc from the mag. Or subcribe to PSM, Playstaion underground, or any other PS magizine. Too bad I cant get my HDD loader to work with the new maps...but games for me are now $5.00 even for new titles!!!

I just went to Vons and bought the issue of Playstation mag. was easy nuff for me. Now I just need the HD.

I just discovered Respawn! So fun!

Yeah, great place to practice sniping. (I suck as sniping...)
Boundries is nice too. Adds to it. I just like the straight up VIG SPAWN as a terrorist. So many possabilities.

Im usually on after 8pm M-F. Sometimes sooner, just depends on the day.

I never do well in Chain. Always get spawn camped. :rolleyes:

yeah it's more of a haven for US noobies, haven't found a single player outside the US on there. not yet at least.

Yeah, lots of people on it but all are U.S. peeps.

I see the new map is out but havent been able to locate a mag to get it. The After Hours map is cool but for sniping, visability is limited. Plus it seems that alot of the glitches arent fixed. people sitting in the boxes, dying but not dead, zombies or some sort. Locking ladders.... crap like that which I was exposed to last night.

My clan is now 15+ heads all from San Diego area. I found some more fellow San Diegians last night and we clicked up together, SCE clan we should hook-up later too. Make a "W"est "C"osat "F"inest clan or something (WCF) ...lol

SCE is no more pretty much..only had 2 guys sign up. Send me an invite to 619 or let's create WCF. I replied to your post on SC2 forums.
