wow i like:tup:

i think its a good platform to start with some tuning

i just wish there was a company making a supercharger for it

im just gunna say bye bye to the "saving up for a tc" plan and go with the "saving up for a rabbit 2 door" plan :)

hopefully by then there will be more parts out for it

any of you guys hear about companies developing parts etc for the mkv 2.5L ?

i drove one a month or two ago and i absolutely loved it. my ONLY complaint was that the engine sounds like it was struggling a little. i know that 5 cylinders have a VERY unique sound to themselves (i've driven many a Volvo and a few GMC canyons) and the sound awesome, well the volvos do. i was a little disappointed. but i do know that little 5 cyl is a pretty nice engine though. i would buy one if i didn't like my golf so much

the technical 2.5 forums on the vortex is a good place to start with info and friendly peeps who won't chew you out. we have a aftermarket parts thread. save yourself the trouble in posting in the MKV forum on the vortex. all the GTI guys are douche bags who think their 2.0t is king of the road.

naah...the NS charger for the 2.0 is boo-boo so unless this new one threw some INsane numbers then...

neuspeed already has a turbo out for the 2.5. its on the thunder bunny.
the only other company that is currently working on one to my knowledge is vagmotorsport with their gt28rs 2.5 turbo. active thread on the tex.

i as a vw tech am very pleased with the 2.5. i can guaratee the aftermarket world for these cars will be kicking in soon.
