Im thinking about getting the Koni Coilovers because I'm tired of the setup I have now (H&R Springs & Shocks). But my question is what else should or do I need to replace while I'm changing these out. Car has 60k miles on it. Its an 03 GTI 1.8t

You need to replace the bushings and bearings up front. We've got a kit here.

i have my dampning set on hard that way i can get as low as possible. which equals to creeping on train tracks cuz yea.. i do feel the majority of the nacks in teh road but that might just be cuz i need new tires but my cars stance is like sexual healing x 4

once car gets over 75k miles or over 100k miles, its good idea to start replacing stuff, like bushings while your doing other stuff

I'm putting mine on this weekend. put rears on already. it was so easy. I thought I did something wrong, cause no installs go that smoothly (at least not for me) I only have 15,000 so im not gonna replace the strut bearings. However, Im putting TT bushings in rear LCA's. I hear it helps a lot.

i don't want to thread jack but mike brought it up! :)
Mike, do you have puly bushings for all the suspension parts for a MK4 golf 2.0? i'm thinking that my rubber bushings have had it (the salt from my stay in michigan is not a pretty thing) let me know if you do and how much they cost. thank you!

Can someone post the site for the write up for the Koni Install. Work has Vortex blocked for what ever reason. going to send the link to a friend and have him print it.
when i bought my koni coils, i also purchase all the replacement bushings....and didnt need to use anything off the stock set up....meaning there was no need for a spring compressor

I finished installing mine today. Wow so nice. The only thing is I do not understand how to tighten the strut nut. Others have allen key in the shock body, koni puts their adjustability piece there. oh yeah a tip. the spreader tool will make life easier. I had a piece that helped me out, but was a pita. Also the "strut tool" will make life easier as well. I just used impact wrench.
