SDvDubs, you basically shot yourself in the foot....sucks to be you.
Well, he bought the car in that condition, thats his own fault.
He got a Free paint job in three months from a very reputable and high end paint shop.
And he is posting it in text as Liable, he can get sued over this

Yeah, I'd be careful scorching a place like that... And the paint job looks awesome. If I wasn't gonna repaint my front bumper myself in a couple weeks, I'd have them do it
once I get my car out of daily driver status, I would love to have them repaint it

i don't know much about the shop there. but i would have to say that what he has portrayed would be very poor customer service. i'm sorry but if you keep my car for 7 weeks and then i have to wait several hours beyond when it was promised, not too mention having the owner come out and yell at me!... i would be bitchy too. i mean it's cool they did it for free but come on 7 weeks? i mean i've taken in my fiberglass body car and it took them less then a week to repair 5-6 cracks/gouges (that sounds worse then it was but i don't have a better word) and respray it black.

haha, that car was for sale for EVER, now I know why, more crack than a crack and peanut butter sandwich! This guy probably paid a show-car price, and was expecting it to come with some sort of show-car insurance policy, that states that the car will never get haggard or fall apart (which we all know eventually happens to most) , and if it does, everything will be paid for by the person who originally paid to have the work done.
riiiiight.

well i personally don't like wetworks. i brought my car for insurance work and also got some other stuff painted. first off the paint really doesn't match, and there are wet sand swirls in it. you have to know what yer looking for to see it but still. plus theres a paint drip on my engine cover. they were nice to me, but i just figured my paint will never be perfect again. i myself wouldn't reccommend them to anyone.

yeah I had my body kit installed there and the experience was not great pieces started coming off the next week. they tried to fix them but didn't really do anything but waste more of my time. there are better shops out there to go to.

It's a ctually a color used only by the owner of Axis wheels. It's on all of their yellow show vehicles except for his ferrari. it some PPG yellow with gold pearl effect or something like that.

Alright cool making a thread about me??
Well ya I purchased this car with Wet Works telling the previous owner that "if the paint is holding you back from selling the car then tell them that I'll fix it for them."
I was under the impression that I was going to get my paint fixed right from a well respected shop that was included in the purchased price. So in a way I was a paying customer.
