Rolled up to my friends' house today, and much to my surprise I saw THIS!

I quickly asked for the keys...a friend and I are thinking of picking this up as project car. Going topless was...an experience...What do you think? ;)

1986 Volkswagen Cabriolet- Wolfsburg Edition [not "Karmann Edition" ;)]
Alpine White, black top, blue/gray leatherette, matching floor mats
Original 14" Avus wheels "Snowflakes" with blue detailing
5 speed...no reverse! EEK!

throw some audi 5000 turbo pistons in there and slap together a turbo kit and make some power with it....nice looking car man

Thanks for all the suggestions! I can't wait until we actually own the darn thing to get started on the never-ending list of things "To Do".

Michael and I typically detail our cars on Fridays, so this Cabby is going to be lookin' good after one Friday with us. Plus, it doesn't have nearly as many scratches as my NB. :p

Are there any Cabby owners on SCE?

My friend Michael and I said the exact same thing. Although we want to go with the blue that's on the wheels/seats. EH..it still isn't ours, so who knows...
