in 08 europe will get the 30th edition gti. pushing 230 horse. it will have fancy 30th edition badging and 18" wheels. has anyone heard anything about this maybe coming to the US:confused: ?

you know... that right there is the difference between socaleuro and vwwhoretex. instead of reaming the guy for not searching you post up exactly what he is looking for. rock on socaleuro!!! not that you didn't search but that's not the point.
anyway, i don't know about that 30th, it doesn't really stand out enough to make me think it's worth the 30K mark up it's going to have (that's a little steep but it illustrates my point). plus i really like those monza wheels, i think that's what they are called. they are the 18" ones that look like they have 5 circles cut out of them. those are HOT!!!

If the fahrenheit GTI is like 25-26k, then I'd expect the 30th to be around 27-28k, but honestly a fwd hatchback isn't worth that kind of cash.

i was at the glendale new century VW dealership yesterday and saw the fahrenheit in orange for a lil over 28k, so id expect the 30th anniv to easily be over 30k. maybe high 30-low 31k. WOW, thats serious cash.
