My understanding from research is after the mid 90's, Colts quality went a little downhill, mine is a 1993 model at the appearent end of the good years. Your better off with a Kimber "knockoff", my buddies is very ammo particular and is very accurate by semi-auto standards. Or buy a well kept used one like i did

I only own 1 handgun, 1 semi auto rifle, 1 bolt rifle, 1 lever action rifle, and 1 pump shotgun. Only 2 of the guns are here in Cali tho.

yeah, my trigger finger is still sore from the kick of the .44MAG, my finger is out of shape...........................................

We should get a shooting range GTG going so we can all checkout each others hardware and swap.
