To get an Giac x+ ECU upgrade:tup2:

i was planning to do all bolt ons before i went chip, but Vortex persuded me:bump: ....

I was gonna get it done at ABD, but i wanna find somwhere closer to home in case my stuff goes haywire

so where in the San Diego area would you guys recommend?

Group 5 (http://www.group5motorsport.com) does it

Or if you don't mind the drive Potterman (www.parts4vws.com) does too. It'll give you a chance to play around with the car on the way home.

ok.. anyone else?, group 5 kinda got on my bad side when they quoted me too high on some parts.

There good, dont get me wrong, its just that one experiecne that messed it up for me ^_^

and i was gonan get it done at ABD, but yea, if i can find somone down here why not?

since you had a bad taste from Group5 ... i recommend you give them a try

id talk to Troy@group5 and talk to him ... ill bet he'll do what he can to regain your support

i can tell you this, there's a lot of shops around, and they arent always the cheapest, but all the shops that most of us recommend, they will take care of you
