yes i was in the same esg with you all of cruise... on a cruiser i called home for six months

wow that really sucks.

i'm impressed that they let you keep those pictures. i know that sometimes in big organizations (something like the navy) they will confiscate pictures of the events.

yes i have alot more and video of my helo landing and giving food its pretty cool how we do it all the people smiling just so happy to get rice and water

Yeah, it's probably weird to think about how many died, when you could only help so many. It's a very small percentage. But think of how much it meant to the ones you DID help/save.
Are you an Aircrewman? (I would look in one of the old military threads, but I'm way too lazy)

I turned on the TV that niight and saw 3 AWs I know, being interviewed on CNN. I said SAY WHAT!

well im not aircrew but im a TFO and a INFLIGHT TECH.. so i volunteered to help give the food... it was crazy landing with wood and concrete and well other things flying everywhere because of the helo... people started rushing the helo and just wanted the food sometimes i got dangerous but they didnt care
