I thought I would share some pics of my SKS, so you guys can see what can be done with one for cheap, Im in this thing under $400
59/66 Yugoslavian 7.62x39mm
NATO grenade launcher (don't ask why a Commie gun has a NATO spec part on it, all 59/66's came from the factory with them, thats all I know)
Synthetic Monte Carlo stock
Bi-pod
Tri-mount Picatinny rail
Red Dot sight (not sighted in yet)

nice! what is the effective range?

effective range is around 400 yards, with the red dot scope good for quick target acquisition for 100 yards or less

Watermelons are cool, but the cheap ass 2 liters of club soda from Wal-Mart go boom, but then you have to pick up the old bottles.
