man i would go there but i need to tow it to the shop which would cost me a lot more so i was trying to find a placee to locally repair my car. I would like to go performance but as of now i just want my car to be working and fixed and i need to know a place that is experienced in fixing vw and putting it back to mNUFcturers specification when it comes to repairs. thanks:)

They cost just as much as VW Specialties and both shops back their work. DRS is on lambert off of harbor in la habra. Probably down the street from you if you live in walnut. I HIGHLY recommend them!

Dynamic Racing Solutions (http://www.racesolutions.com)

P.S. you can dyno the car for free if the labor is over $200.

None of these shops specialize in VW's.
Eurotech does mainly BMW, MB, and maybe Porsche. I'm sure they can work on vw's.
Autohaus, despite the name, they do mainly Japanese cars. I dont know them to do repairs, rather strictly modifications.
PJ Bonifacio is a body shop. The owner himself sends out his own cars to other shops for motor swaps/mechanical repair work.

I live in Walnut, and its hard finding a good VW repair shop in the area. I suppose Dynamic in La Habra is the closest. You can try Dave's Little Car Shop in Walnut (909) 594-0477. He specializes in aircooled, but got into watercooled several years ago. He did an excellent job on my water pump and wheel bearings.

thanks a lot basically i need to get my car repaired and i know i have body damage and possibbly some mechanical damage to the underside of the engine where i drove over the sidewalk and jumped the curb which scraped the bottom of the car. so i was wondering if dynamic in la habra is reputable in repairs because i know they do engine mods and i was just looking for repair to possible damages to engin parts. thanks again

dude, pretty much, if drs or renner can do engine mods or body work, they would sure be able to repair/ replace damaged parts also. :smokem:

Just wondering...

If Strictly German is 20 min away... AND willing to cover your tow cost to get the car there.... why aren't you considering them? Just curious.

German Performance here in RVSD does good work too. But that tow would be a few bucks I'm sure.

I am actually in Hacienda Height which is 15 minutes from walnut and i know there are a lot of shops in the walnut area so i was wondering who would reccommend a place near there.

Well thanks everyone for your help, i brought my car to DRS and Hopefully they will get the job done and the car running. I just need to take it to a body shop after the mechanical repairs.
