Basically not enough members with porsche's to justify one. If you have questions about porsche's though a few members can help you out around here. Mike on here work on porsche's in his spare time and is actually fixing one up. I use to have a 924 myself back in the day.

Oh sweet! So I can ask a few questions.
Ok, well I don't want to make another thread... So.
I hear the 994 is a really pricey car when it comes to repairs... Well how often do they break?
Compare the reliability and maintenance factor of a 994 or 994S to a Volkswagen SLC Corrado.
944 is a great car, fun to drive, comfortable 50/50 weight distribution and fairly reliable, If you get one that needs a ton of work, have money to spend. Common problems are switches and relays, fuel regulators, crank sensors, head gaskets, water pumps (run off the timing belt so this is usually changed when the T-belt is changed) clutches aren't fun, the clutch is up front ion the back of the motor, and the gearbox is in the back behind the rear seats with along shaft running between the two. Buy the newest, nicest one you can afford. Check Pelican for good 944 owners and info http://forums.pelicanparts.com/index.php?
Unless you are good at turning wrenches, and have a decent paying job, stay away from the 951 (944 Turbo) these cars can go fast for real cheap, like $3K for 350 RWHP, but can be amajor pain to fix, engine compartment is cramped, and stuff cooks with the heat of the turbo

I'm thinking of it.. But not too sure... I really want a Corrado instead.
Also, I did hear the engines run hot in these cars.... How much is a cooler for one, I live in the HOT ASS city of Hemet and avg summer and spring days reach 105-110 easy.

it's an indiana car so ask about winter/rust. i know from michigan winter experience most people don't take care of their cars with the salt and it just tears up the chassis. make sure it's ABSOLUTELY rust free or you will be replacing body panels and chassis parts constantly.
for that money there are alot of choices in the 944 world, they never run that hot if the cooling system is kept up on

Those are beautiful... wow...
The two 944's exceed a bit over my price range. But that Alpine white one is stunning! Nonetheless, the Orig. 43k one is very sweet.. but I can't get a red car haha.
