Figured I'd post this up. $40 for two pulls with lambda and online results is a really good deal. Get on it.

its so great on that website they have a ranking board for all the cars dynoed and the first 77 or so are all american cars except for one guy with a 85 gti pushing 455 or something

sandiegobmx
05-01-2007, 05:16 PM
And? Most of the cars putting down wild numbers are, gasp, American cars. Bolt a GT42R onto your Jetta and get up there...

Aaaannnnndd...Jesse's GTI is amazing.

Click that "sign up today" button. I'm officially signed up. Everyone else should, too.

Edit: Trying to move up from position 251 on the overall ranking so I can make joeandhisjetta proud. Hah...

I'm trying to sign up for it but the stupid registration on the site isn't working. Again. Have emailed the webmaster. If one of you who is registered could post that I'm planning to be there and dyno, that would be hot.

Tell me what car you are bring and I'll add you under my account if you need me to.

Lon,
make sure your M5 doesn't have the fuel pump on fuses 31 and 17. If it does you won't get a full pull. Check M5board about that. the DSC cuts you off at around 5500rpm if it senses different wheel speeds even if you have dsc off. So you have to be able to pull 31 and 17. June 2000 they changed the fuse box.

If for whatever reason you can't register, post up your details and I can sign you up through my account.

Even if you aren't signed up, you can still come run for $40...just your results won't be posted online (which could be a good thing—hah).

i have to drive upto HB that day to pick up some seats. if this is early enough, i might be able to swing down there before i head upto HB.

how does this work? is it first come first serve or by sign up? I want to do this, but I don't want to be waiting for 30 cars ahead of me.

When you sign up, they send out an e-mail the day before with a loose schedule to keep all 30 people from showing up at once. You can show up whenever you want, though. Just show up, let the dude with the clip board know you're there and you can be in and out in an hour.

After it's all said and done, I'm not sure I can make it anymore. The fuel pump went out on the car and I don't want to spend $300 to get one right away at the dealership.

How'd it go? I never bothered replacing my fuel pump and I pretty had the wildest night ever on Friday, so I didn't make it.

I went around 10:30 and there weren't too many people there. I think I was about the 8th or 9th person to dyno for the day. there was an mk2 gti vr6 supercharged, turboed rocco, a silver abd gti 1.8t. I wasn't too happy about my results. they used the dyno at the back of the store. I was way off the numbers i had in the past. The supercharged mk2 gti vr6 was getting low numbers too. im hoping it wasnt our cars and it was just the dyno. only thing encouraging was my air/fuel ratio was pretty good after around 4500 rpm.

so what were the numbers on your vr6t??

sandiegobmx
05-21-2007, 12:34 AM
Dyno at the back? Like outside?

Shame...I'm not sure why more people don't show up; it's such a good deal. Of course, this is coming from one of the guys that didn't show up.
