Been dating for 3 months now. She's really not expecting anything other than a card I'm sure. Want to surprise her with a little something though. Just have no idea what to get her. Something fairly inexpensive, say under $100.

Go to Costco, pick up a Spa Certificate $75 for a $100 certificate.
SHe won't end up using it right away . . . I'm asuuming she has kids . . . so plan a day for her to go get a massage and you take the kid(s).
If you're in San DIego, I recommend a place called Spa Tiki http://www.spatiki.com/
Though . . . 3 months isn' t hat big of a deal.

i completely agree with creanium. if she isn't your mom or your babies momma, they don't get anything.

LOL, of course she's a mother. Why else would I be getting her something for "Mother's Day"? :p I think I'll get her flowers. I can't just ignore the fact that it's mother's day just because the kid isn't mine.

Agreed. If she is a mother then you should do something for her.
I was just wondering because sometimes people take their girlfriends, wives, etc out and buy them gifts for mother's day when they aren't mothers. That doesn't seem right to me.

Get her flowers, more casual than anything else. Or a certificate for a mani/pedi, etc. Tell her how she's a great mom (even if she isn't), blah blah blah. You will surely lay the pipe on Mom's Day.

if she works (like at an office) send her flowers -- girls like to show off in front of other girls that they got something the the others didn't :)
and you could deliver them yourself during the work day!

agreed, mother's day=for mothers. you should be more concerned about what you're getting ur MOTHER for mother's day. Poor woman brought u into this world and ur worried about ur gf and ur secretary and you're neighbors daughter. exnay on the gf giftsay. instead put those $100 into ur mom's gift and make it even better.

If you are hell bent on giving her a gift, for under $100 you could get some earings with a semi-precious stone in them. Don't go to a department store and get some cloudy stone, try a good smaller shop with low overhead. Ask your friends. Someone will be able to refer you some place good. Be ready to haggle a little and paying in cash will get you an even better price. Then go buy a cheap little teddy bear and put the earings in the ears of the teddy bear. Then give her said bear. Trust me on this one...

Dude, they've only been together for 3 months... I think this might be a little premature. Just my opinion though...

Awww they're just earings. Something that looks really nice could be had for like $70. I didn't say "ring" or "tennis bracelet" or anything kooky like that.
